Imagine if your childhood favorites never aged and followed you into your adulthood? Artist Myan “Nini”  Ly wanted to bring whimsical, childlike and colorful designs to her work and we have to say, she definitely succeeded. A visit to her online shop shows off her fun, yet nostalgic designs (p.s. She is also tabling at some events, check out her website for more details!).

The Vietnamese-Chinese-American illustrator and designer's mission in her work is to spark joy to others, especially the stationary collectors. A hobby Nini has enjoyed for a long time, she found there were products that just didn’t exist in the American market, so she took it upon herself to make them. Starting in late 2021/early 2022, a printmaking class at the University of Connecticut was also a source of inspiration in creating and selling her work.

Don’t miss Nini at her in-person events she’s participating in this year, say hello and be prepared to get a larger drawer to hold your stationery collection.
